Read Me
There are way too many questions and answers on this page. Where do I even begin? How do I use this resource?
USE THE SEARCH BOX to filter the questions! You can filter by Specialty e.g. Cardiology, Respiratory, Toxicology, by Investigation e.g. ECG, VBG, XR, CT or by specific topic e.g. lithium.
This page should be used as a reference / look-up resource. Before or after studying a particular topic e.g. Acute Coronary Syndrome, do one or several questions on that topic to identify high yield areas or to consolidate knowledge after it has been studied.
Doing all these questions to exam timing would take more than 100 hours – aiming to do all of them unselectively would be a waste of precious study time and energy.
Links only taking you to the document but not to the correct page?
This page works with Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge though your browser needs to be set to open pdf files within the browser and not to just download the pdf.
If the links still do not take you to the correct page clear your browser site data / cookies / cache as these can cause content to not be displayed properly. Check your browser is up to date. Try another browser.
It is not optimised for mobile devices – in particular it does not work with Android Browsers (or other browsers that cannot natively open pdf files). It is untested with Safari.
There are issues with the content e.g. for certain questions the required knowledge is out of date / the answers are wrong / the wording should be adjusted.
Questions / answers / props have been reproduced in their original format and no comment made on specific details. If you disagree with any content please research the answer and come to a satisfying conclusion yourself. There is no facility to edit or comment on the resources as they currently exist.
Some of the pages with questions / answers / props seem to take an excessively long time to load
This website links to pages within pdf documents. A few of these pdf files are large (up to 13Mb) which explains why they can take a long time to load.
Some of the links to props do not seem to take to the correct prop e.g. you filtered for XRs but the prop shows a biochemistry result.
Some questions have multiple props. The link to the prop links to the first prop of each question. The subsequent props will be in the next pages in the prop document – just scroll down from where you first land.
Some questions are missing – In certain exams only a selection of the questions are indexed.
A small proportion of questions were deliberately not indexed. This is because the content is overtly out of date e.g. older style cardiac risk stratification or because the question is so similar / identical to one in a previous exam that its inclusion would not add anything.
The Tags give away answers before even looking at the question!
Try the Tag-less page at www.edvivas.com/part2s-notags/
The links are not working / are not tagged / catergorised properly / there are other issues.
Please email me with issues that require attention at luke_j_oc@yahoo.com.
Why are you sharing documents that are explicitly labelled as not to be shared without the permission of the authors?
This issue was discussed on the DEMT forum and the various reasons for sharing in this manner highlighted. Primarily, these exams already are being shared via other websites on the open internet. Prior to this they were being shared via a variety of dropboxes which would disadvantage anyone not given access to such a resource. This also reduces or eliminates the potential for people making a for-profit resource for this part of the exam. If any DEMT / author would like their content removed from this site please contact me and I will remove it.
